Chance Encounters
A painting shaped by unexpected turns, accidental discoveries and the freedom to let go of
the original plan.

I like the idea that nothing in this painting is what I initially intended it to be.
It is the result of layer after layer of experiments, abandoned ideas, accidental marks, preserved fragments and complete changes of direction.
Depending on who is looking at it, entirely different images can emerge from all that rich chaos.
Maybe you’ll see a landscape. Maybe a city. Maybe water. Maybe something I haven’t seen at all.
Or perhaps you’ll meet the same dragon bunny my son discovered.
Which is why Chance Encounters seemed like the perfect title.
